SPIRES-HEP (High-Energy Physics Literature Database) is maintained Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) since the late 1960s. The database covers particle physics literature and information relevant to high-energy particle physicists. In 1991 it became the first web site in the USA.

To Croatian users INSPEC is available through Ovid interface.
Citation database available in Science and Social Sciences editions, valuate the journals, with quantifiable, statistical information based on citation data, measure research influence and impact of the journal (Impact factor).

Produced by US National Library of Medicine Medline provide quality bibliographic information or articles from academic journals covering medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and health care. Medline is available to Croatian scientific community through Ovid, EBSCOHost i PubMed. MEDLINE uses Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) for information retrieval.
Poznate Thomson Reutersove baze podataka Web of Science (WoS) i Journal Citation Reports (JCR) privremeno su nedostupne korisnicima hrvatske akademske zajednice zbog, kako doznajemo iz Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i športa, tehničkih poteškoća u održavanju pristupa. Iz MZOŠ-a javljaju da aktivno rade na otklanjanju nastalih poteškoća i da će o ponovnom pristupu obavijestiti sve korisnike putem obavijesti na službenim stranicama Ministarstva.
